Parenting

Parents don't want their children to make the wrong decisions, so they don't allow them to make the decision. And then the child becomes dependent, and then the parent resents that, and it gets off into a blameful thing early on. If you are encouraging children to do all that they can do — and not squelching the natural eagerness that is within them, so that they can shine and thrive and show you and themselves how good they are at adapting to physical experience — then everyone wins.

When you get hold of an idea, play it out for the pleasure in it. If you are doing it for any other reason, then you are not connecting to your Source Energy.

And that different path that every individual is launching incrementally—and amending constantly—that true path is known by Source and is guided by Source if you will pay attention to the way you feel.

Alignment on a daily basis

If you wait until your body is completely dehydrated before you drink something or completely emaciated before you eat something, your body can get far out of balance. While it is possible to eventually bring your body back to a state of well-being—it is much easier to maintain a healthy physical balance than to recover it after losing it.

Most people never put themselves into the dramatic situation where they are without water or food to the point of doing damage to their physical bodies; however, it is not uncommon for people to deprive their bodies of something equally important: alignment with Source Energy.

In the same way that it is a good idea to drink when you feel the indication of thirst—and therefore maintain your Well-Being long before dehydration is experienced—it is equally important to change the thought and release resistance at the first indication of negative emotion. For while it is certainly possible to withstand negative emotion for long periods of time, it is not the optimal experience for the cells of your physical body.

When you learn to release resistance in the early, subtle stages, your physical body must thrive. Thriving is what is natural to you.

New Story

There is no right or wrong way to tell your improved story. It can be about your past, present, or future experiences. The only criterion that is important is that you be conscious of your intent to tell a better-feeling, improved version of your story. Telling many good-feeling short stories throughout your day will change your point of attraction. Just remember that the story you tell is the basis of your life. So tell it the way you want it to be.

What does abundance feel like?

Just wanted to share a transcript of a video that has been very helpful to me the past few weeks:

HS: I really want to resonate with the source within me, particularly on the subject of money. I want one signal.

Abe: So when you say I want to resonate with Source, what does that mean in practical terms? How do you know when you are, and how do you know when you're not?

HS: It feels crap & like lack when I'm not....

Abe: So feeling crap is not resonating with Source.

HS: No. (laughter)

Abe: So, so it's a feeling thing. So, can you define it, or better still, can you conjure images that cause you to feel it, & then interplay with us while you're feeling it?

HS: Yes.

Abe: This is the work, in other words, find some way to feel it, because it must be annoying to you when we say that the emotion IS the manifestation. So go get that emotion, And you say, well I could no more go get the emotion than I can go get the million dollars right now, this red hot minute. And we say, well you probably can't go get the million dollars within the next ten minutes, but we know you can get the emotion. So, what is the emotion that you're trying to create here? What emotion are you wanting to manifest?

HS: Abundance.

Abe: But, what does abundance feel like? How do you feel abundance? What does abundance feel like? It's not a very good emotional word. I feel abundant, we get it, but....

HS: Uh, this is where I'm confused.....

Abe: Well, don't be. Just try here, what does abundance feel like? What, what, use emotional words that are equivalent to abundance.

HS: Ease.

Abe: Really good one, really good abundant word, what else?

HS: Peace, excitement, joy....freedom.

Abe: Alright, now get a little more....these are all good, but really focus on abundance, and abundance to me feels like.......it feels like.......confidence.....it feels like.......ease.......it feels like........free......it feels like........flow.......it feels like.......

HS: It feels like freedom. And the fullness of who I really am.

Abe: Because, freedom from bondage. flow as opposed to blockage, so you just wanna keep massaging it & playing with it, because you can't play with those words, & the variety of words that all sort of speak to it, without beginning to evoke the feeling within you. In other words, so as you identify the emotions that you're wanting to conjure, or create, then you can fill it in by saying I want to feel free......during segment of refreshment, Esther was lying on the sofa & reaching for a feeling of freedom, and of ease, and an image came to her mind that she has not thought about in many, many years......of being very young, & by herself, & taking the blanket out between the lilac bushes which was up against a fence, which was a natural little hut, & spreading the blanket, & just lying there on the blanket, in the bushes, and just feeling the Well Being. And as she remembered that, she remembered how it smelled, she remembered how it felt, in other words, she was reaching for a feeling, and clearly found the feeling which then brought a further manifestation of a memory that matched it. You see what we're getting at? Now, in some cases, we might have said to you well can you think of a time when you felt free, or can you think of a time, but sometimes it's harder to go there because thinking of a time when you felt free is more specific than just finding the emotion. The emotion really is the first stage of the manifestation. And if you can get there, and you can, just by using productive words, so let's not leave this easily.....keep using abundant FEELING words. Just keep reaching for them until you find some that really click in for you.

HS: Ok. It feels like freedom, and joy, and allowing, and alignment, and......

Abe: Now, you're doing fine but you're going so fast........take each word & savor it, feel...freedom, freedom, freedom, freedom, because usually the word freedom doesn't feel very free to most people, because you're still trying to free yourself from something that isn't free. So, that's not always the case, but usually...... And so, not the best word in the world to use, so find one that feels better & don't go so fast.

HS: Ok. Uh, relaxed.

Abe: Relaxed. Now just stay there. Relaxed, relaxed. What do you mean, relaxed? What does relaxed feel like? What does relaxed feel like? It feels like.....no pressure.....it feels like not having to do anything.......it feels like just giving myself space.........just giving myself, use words, use words to describe it & therefore to conjure the feeling.

HS: And, it feels soothing.

Abe: Soothe's a good word. Soothe, soothing.

HS: Kind of like a bath, a soothing bath. Harmony, harmony.

Abe: All good words. None of them quite on it, but all good words. So keep reaching.

HS: Um, slow. Feel ease & flow. Streaming?

Abe: Right place, right time. Nothing that needs to be done. Everything workin' out for me. Universe has my back. Worthy? mmmm... worthy. (laughter) Deserving. Capable. Sure. Confident. Ease. Good. Fun. Free. No right or wrong to it, just keep feelin' around until something moves within you. Anything movin'?

HS: (Silence)

Abe: Words not so important. What does abundance feel like? What does abundance feel like? What does abundance feel like? It's hard to make that transition, because abundance feels like going & buying something, it feels like going somewhere, it feels like being able to do what I want to do. Most of you, when you're talking about abundance, are in a rather rebellious state.

HS: Yes.

Abe: It's like you're going to wrestle it to the ground & kill it. It's like you're going to conquer the dragons that scare you. It's like you're going.......it's like......

HS: And I'm so annoyed, yeah.......

Abe: And, and so even the word abundance is not very life giving to you because it conjures more lack within you, especially when there's abundance of all kinds, theres' abundance of oxygen, there's abundance of beauty, there's abundance of sunshine out there today on a day that it was supposed to rain. There's abundance of all kinds, there's abundance of clarity in this room, there's abundance of love in this room, there's a lot of abundance but you're not talking about abundance relative to those things. You wanna point abundance toward the escape from the bondage of not having enough abundance. And so you have to play with it until you feel it sort of break loose within you.

HS: Okay.

Abe: So keep going. You'll feel it shift, & it's worth sticking with it until you do. Because when we said to you, you can create this manifestation of the feeling of abundance in 10 minutes, we're not kidding, and this is how you do it. This is how you do it. And it's so worth doing it, because once you find it, now you've got the vibration of it & everything else fills in around it.
So it's really worth goin' for it. It's worth goin' for it, to most people it feels like a waste of time, you should be lookin' at the want ads.

HS: Yeah. (laughs) yeah. (laughter)

Abe: You should be doing something more productive than feeling around with fluffy feelings. But if you are able to conjure the FEELING of abundance, using whatever words that make it easier for you to do it, once it clicks into place, the emotion will become your first manifestation, and then other thoughts will come, rendezvous will come, money will come.

HS: Okay. Well, the next word that's in my head is passion. But, I don't know if that's jumping too far ahead though.

Abe: It really isn't, it's a perfect match to abundance. Because with abundance comes the ability to passionately explore any avenue that is important to you. So, stay there for just a little bit.

HS: (Silence)

Abe: At my most abundant feeling moment in life, this & this & this was happening. What was it?

HS: It felt synchronistic. Um, travel, I was traveling. I felt free because I was traveling. So, maybe I was responding to the outside thing? As opposed to the inside? Um, I felt alive. I felt free, I felt my Source, I felt my reason for being, that's what I felt like.

Abe: I associate abundance with a feeling of power. With a feeling of strength. With a feeling of being in charge. With a feeling of capable. I feel capable. I feel sure. I feel strong. I feel abundant, I feel strong. I feel eager. I feel confident. I feel sure, even cocky. I feel in love with life, I feel zest & vigor, & I feel robust. I feel.......you see how more words are starting to come, more words are starting to feel applicable.

HS: Yes.

Abe: As you stay there longer. And as you stay there longer, finding which ones fit & which ones don't, & which ones take you a little further, this is the work. So, now when you use the word abundance, it's not an empty hollow word. It's a word that has caused you to practice some emotion. Or, even better than practicing the emotions, conjuring the emotions. So, now, think of people that you associate with abundance. And now see which of those words apply to them. They're free, they are powerful, they are sure, they seem to be having fun. They seem to have the world by the tail. They are the movers & the shakers. They are the ones that make things happen. They're the ones that get to do whatever they want to do. They are not limited by money, ever. Their limitations are different than money, and so they can play things out on a bigger stage. And then they have the opportunity to play with more people. And so, and they have the ability to attract to them, or to bring to them, or to hire to them, the best of the best in whatever field is important to them. And so they can surround themselves with powerful people who are big thinkers, who know what to do, who have experience, and so, the more of that that comes around me, then the more abundant that I will be. And hasn't it shifted dramatically, just in this little bit of conversation? So then, so now you're not doing it because you have an ulterior motive of wanting to conjure the emotion so that more will follow, this emotion that you're conjuring is starting to feel pretty good. Now, this manifestation of these ideas is starting to feel good, isn't it?

HS: Yes.

Abe: Esther's been saying, I....want.....a jet! (laughter) So, she's at the airport on Delta, on a big old clumsy awkward jet, that has way too many other people on it with her,

HS: Yes.

Abe: And she's looking out at all these slick little jets. Ooooh, that's a really pretty jet, that's a really pretty jet, oooh I really like THAT jet over there, I really like THAT jet over there. And the emotion, the emotion of the jet is just thrilling to her. In other words, she doesn't have to HAVE the jet, she WILL, she doesn't have to HAVE the jet, she WILL, (laughter) she doesn't have to HAVE the jet, she WILL, she doesn't have to HAVE the jet, to have the FEELING! She only wants the jet for the feeling of freedom. But the idea of the jet is a feeling of freedom. So, she can't look at those jets without grinning. She can't look at them without......and she says ooooh, you know, you just drive your car right up to the jet! You just drive your car up to the jet & you, you push the button & there's your luggage exposed & somebody puts your luggage from the car, into the jet!

HS/Audience: (laughter)

Abe: Oooooh........oooooh! And then, you get in the jet........and five minutes later, you're in the air!! There's no.......(laughter).......there's no........it's just.......total freedom! Total freedom to go where I wanna go, when I wanna go, where I wanna go, with who I wanna go.........but it starts with a feeling. And then it evolves to something even more, to an idea that's even more thrilling in nature........which evolves to a rendezvous with everything that is necessary for the bringing about of the full manifestation. We just want you to let the emotional manifestation ring your bell........as much as the manifestation, because it's possible that the jet will only make her happy for the afternoon. (laughter) It's possible, you see, but all of this time moving to it, is life-giving experience. Yes?

HS: Yes.

How to help someone having a hard time

When you see someone living something awful, a rocket of desire for their resolution shoots out of you. And then, if you start focusing upon their resolution, you'll start feeling better right away. And now, you're part of the current that is part of the solution.

Love and Appreciation

Love and appreciation are identical vibrations. Appreciation is the vibration of alignment with who-you-are. Appreciation is the absence of everything that feels bad and the presence of everything that feels good. When you focus upon what you want - when you tell the story of how you want your life to be - you will come closer and closer to the vicinity of appreciation, and when you reach it, it will pull you toward all things that you consider to be good in a very powerful way.

Many tell us that they are so busy making their money that they do not have time to enjoy it . . . for when you rely on your action to create, often you are too tired to enjoy your creation. Thoughts eventually become beliefs

The thought that you think, you think, which attracts to it; so you think it some more, which attracts to it; so you think it some more. In other words, when you have an expectation, you've got a dominant thought going on, and Law of Attraction is going to deliver that to you again, and again and again. And you say "The reason that I believe this, is because it is true." And we say, the reason that you believe it, is because you've practiced the thought. All that a belief is, is a thought that you keep practicing.

Variety

There is a big mix out there, and there's lots of different things going on, and there is not one way that was intended to be the right way. Just like there's not one color or one flower or one vegetable or one fingerprint. There is not one that is to be the right one over all others. The variety is what fosters the creativity. And so you say, "Okay, I accept that there's lots of variety, but I don't like to eat cucumbers." Don't eat cucumbers. But don't ask them to be eliminated and don't condemn those who eat them. Don't stand on corners waving signs trying to outlaw the things that you don't like. Don't ruin your life by pushing against. Instead, say, "I choose this instead. This does please me.

How to clean up your vibration

The way to clean up your vibration is from inside the vortex. The way to clean it up is from inside the vortex. And now let us give you the definition of cleaning up your vibration. You can’t clean up a vibration.

You can’t clean it up because your attention to it messes it up. Your attention to it makes it bigger. It just gets bigger and bigger. It’s like I’m going to clean this fire up with gasoline (laughter). I think I’ll clean up this fire with gasoline. I’ll put more fuel on it and we say that’s not logical is it? The way you clean it up is by withdrawing from it. The way you clean up a vibration is by activating another vibration.

What is effective?

 
"Is this pill really an effective pill? Is this process really an effective process?" Anything that causes you to allow what you desire is the process of coming into alignment. And so, we're not, in any way, validating or invalidating anything. Many offer their "dog and pony show" as being the one that works. And good for all of them. We applaud anything that assists someone in allowing the Well-being, that they so much want and deserve, to flow.

You are magnificent beings, in the perfect place at the perfect time, unfolding perfectly, never getting it done, and never getting it wrong. Be more playful about all of it. "Today, no matter where I'm going, no matter what I am doing, and no matter who I'm doing it with — it is my dominant intent to look for that which I'm wanting to see. I'm wanting to find thoughts and words and actions that feel good while I'm finding them. Pivoting when you feel negative emotion

Anytime you feel negative emotion, stop and say: Something is important here; otherwise, I would not be feeling this negative emotion. What is it that I want? And then simply turn your attention to what you do want. . . . In the moment you turn your attention to what you want, the negative attraction will stop; and in the moment the negative attraction stops, the positive attraction will begin. And—in that moment—your feeling will change from not feeling good to feeling good. That is the Process of Pivoting.

Start where you are

So the big question is, "Well, do I just dump all those unwanted things and try to start fresh?" And we say, no. You just set the Tone, where you are, by looking for things to appreciate. And by setting your Tone in a very clear deliberate way, anything that doesn't match it gravitates out of your experience, and anything that does match it gravitates into your experience. It is so much simpler than most of you are allowing yourself to believe.

Freedom--you choose by your focus and attention

There are many situations, attitudes, lifestyles—even food choices—that you do not want to participate with. Through the living of your life, you have identified many wanted and unwanted aspects, and it is important to remember that none of those unwanted things can jump into your experience, because there is no assertion in your attraction-based Universe.

The choices that others make cannot negatively impact your experience unless you include them in your experience through your attention to them. Things come to you only through your Vibrational invitation—and they remain only by your continuing attention to them.

Your Universe is based upon freedom. Freedom for everyone to choose what they give their attention to, and therefore what they choose to experience. And your interaction with one another provides a contrasting basis that assures continual expansion.

When others achieve Vibrational alignment with something they desire, they in no way deprive you of your desires. If your time-space reality has inspired a desire within you, it is certain that your desire can be fulfilled, for your Earth environment has the potential of satisfying the essence of all desires.

Abraham on food, weight and your body

"What is the perfect food? We would say there is not one, other than water. We encourage lots of that for all of you. Drink as much water as you can get into your body, and then eat anything else that feels good to you.

We would, for a little while, step away from the subject of food altogether in terms of trying to make anything happen. And we'd get as happy as we can relative to other aspects of our life, until we could feel that our cork is floating mostly about most things. And then we would say, "I'm going to befriend my body. I'm going to become a friend with my body. I'm going to make my body my friend." That is so essential: making your body your friend.

Most of you are afraid of your body. Your body feels like something that might trick you. It might get run over, or it might make the wrong decision, or it might die too early, or it might get a disease in it, or it might do something, after all, it has all kinds of mysteries. You can't look into your body. You can't see metabolism. You can't see what's happening with the cells. You don't really understand your body. And your body frightens you in most cases.

We would like to help you to know that your body is oh, so well meaning. Your body is so well orchestrated. You see, your body is trillions of cells that are vibrationally interacting with Source Energy. And if left to their own without a lot of static in your vibration, your body would only thrive. In other words, the basis of your body is one of true and utter thriving. It has no reason to frighten you. It is the greatest evidence of Well-being that exists anywhere in your physical experience. It is an extraordinary mechanism that's come together from great deliberate intent from so many Non-Physical and physical creators. And every one of you who stands in your body, continues to enhance the experience of the physical body. This is an evolution of a species that is extraordinary.

Your bodies are not to be feared. Your bodies are to be revered. Your bodies are to be applauded. Your bodies are to be maybe even amazed at. But they are never to be feared. Your bodies are not vulnerable. They're not fragile. They are resilient. They are flexible. You have the ability to come into alignment again and again and again, and if anyone in the Universe understands that, it's the cells of your body.

Befriending your body is the only way we know of coming to understand that your body is resilient and that it knows what to do, and that it will be whatever you ask it to be. But you have to ask it to be that in a place of nonresistance. It's the most significant information that we have ever expressed relative to your physical body and food. You must love your body, and then lovingly give it the food. And when you love your body and lovingly give it the food, it matters not what food you give it."

On the verge

A hot seater was talking about how he was on the "verge" of getting the perfect job and one showed up and he was so sure that was the one he wanted. It floored him because it had all the characteristics and qualities on his list of what he wanted in a job. He was asking how to close the deal on this job.

Abraham:
You're on the verge of several opportunities. Some of them are spot on to what you think you want. Some of them are spot on to what you really want. And the one that you've got your eye on is the one that's spot on to what you think you want. But there are several others coming that are spot on to what you really want. And because you've been doing so much vortex work, the Universe is not yielding the fairly good one, its holding out for the really good one. And that's what that on the vergeness feels like, you see.

You help us to say something really important ... and that is that when you have something that came so close to popping for you and then didn't quite, there's this feeling to wanna get behind it and push it over the edge. But what happens when you get behind it and push it over the edge is you defeat yourself vibrationally because you do start worrying and wondering. And that worrisome wondering vibration is not a match to who you are and what you want.

"It was just the next logical step, the next logical step. But you're not asking for a bridge now, you're asking for what you're really looking for. And that one that almost manifested was a bridge. Now, to utilize the bridge effectively, be happy with how it is turning out. In other words, to utilize bridges you say THINGS ARE ALWAYS WORKING OUT FOR ME. That's the bridge. This is working out just exactly right. It's just fine. It cued me up, it focused me stronger, it brought me into that feeling of being on the brink, on the verge of something. It served me really well and more like that are coming. And then just trust."

Nothing brings something that's in your vortex ready to pop for you faster than surrendering to the knowledge that it's there and ready to pop and doesn't require your effort.
That's the true definition of surrender. Surrendering to what you've created. And sometimes people think that surrendering means giving up. It means letting go of resistance and ALLOWING the universe to yield to you what you are wanting.

There is nothing wrong

This "underdeveloped" country is not inappropriate in any way. It has different desires and different standards, and it is not lesser than — it is just different. We did not all come to do it the same way. We did not all come to be alike. We came as a diverse bunch of Non-Physical Energies wanting different experiences.

Align with Source

When you are in alignment with who-you-really-are, you cannot help but uplift those with whom you come into contact. Your value to those around you hinges upon only one thing: your personal alignment with Source. And the only thing you have to give to another is an example of that alignment—which they may observe, then desire, and then work to achieve—but you cannot give it to them. Everyone is responsible for the thoughts they think and the things that they choose as their objects of attention.

Line up first

Take the time to line up the Energy first, and action becomes inconsequential. If you don't take the time to line up the Energy, if you don't find the feeling place of what you're looking for, not enough action in the world will make any difference.
